Swirls Entwined autumn surrounded with a white 14″

surrounded with a white 14″ x 11″ acid-free mat board

creating cyanotypes from the plants around me

I then printed layers of blue and pink ink on paper to make this animated image of floating soap bubbles

I love the dynamic energy of these hundreds of little seeds in motion

These hardy perennials grow in my Colorado high alpine garden

Swirls Entwined autumn surrounded with a white 14″Mixed media (acrylic, paper, and gold leaf) 18" x 14" on stretched canvas The four paintings in my Swirls Series illustrate the daily lives of those (the twisting, streaming swirls) living in the rigid, gridded land of New York City. Swirls Entwined has a musical quality with the elements entwined in counterpoint. These swirls are two powerful dancers performing a pas de deux at Lincoln Center.
