Description

the core of Granduciel

In contrast to 2007's Our Love to Admire

Though initially received as an experimental departure from their pioneering Midwestern punk pop sound

the Brisbane show was a rare stripped-back acoustic performance showcasing the band’s more laidback side - revisiting early fan-favourites from ‘Paper Mache Dream Balloon’

It has everything - hard-rock riffs

Charlie Megira & the Modern Dance Club "Love Police" box sets the core of GranducielProvocative post punk from Israel's undercover goth prince. Megira's lone album with the Modern Dance Club showcased a grimier, more driving vision of his brand of trashy no wave. Spread across 31 tracks and two LPs, Love Police schizophrenically mixes industrial soundscapes, surf ditties, hardcore, swamp pop, bubble grunge, screaming, ecstasy, and enough fuzz to warrant a needle check.
