Polished fossil stromatolite slab. Asperia ashburtonia. ASP125 Green Opal CLT112 Tumble polished Crazy LaceASP125. Huge museum quality specimen ! Fossil stromatolite slab polished on one side. Unusual colouration caused by natural iron oxide weathering. Asperia ashburtonia from the Proterozoic "Duck Creek Dolomite". Age is approx. 2 billion years. From near Paraburdoo in Western Australia. 13 mm thick. Approx. 280 mm x 200 mm. 1,734 grams.
