Riverside Rubes - California - Vintage Defunct Baseball Teams - Unisex Hoodie Color:Navy Tommy's idea of conflict resolutionRiverside's Rubes played in the Sunset League starting in 1947, representing a proud chapter of minor league ball in Southern California. Small town teams like this one were the backbone of postwar baseball, giving communities something to rally around. Riverside didn't just field a team, it claimed one as its own.
