Description
the current scientific consensus is that Nepenthes robcantleyi is synonymous with nebularum and therefore the preceding distinction of robcantleyi should be used for all plants
It certainly could become a cornerstone to any breeding program and would likely pass on its extremely squat pitcher shape
Incorporating selected Indochinese species adds a new color pallette for Nepenthes hybridization
These plants should be grown as highlanders with good humidity though they may be able to tolerate a few months under intermediate conditions
So far seedlings have grown well under a wide range of conditions and we expect all the seedlings to be very colorful with a wide peristome and squat shape
Nepenthes peltata, BE-4613 Size:Medium the current scientific consensus isThis species comes from Mindanao in the Phillipines. Its quite a variable species in both stature and color but generally produces very robust, tubby pitchers with a very wide mouth. The tendril insertion is peltate (meaning coming from inside the leaf) but plants have to be fairly large to exhibit this characteristic. Its documented to grow from 800 meters to over 1600 meters so its likely tolerant of a wide range of conditions. Weve grown it
