Song of a Waxwing - Small P09576-P00025 bring this ceramic wall sculpture

bring this ceramic wall sculpture home and transform your own space into something extraordinary

creating an effect that seamlessly marries modern and classic elements

which seemingly breaks down into "chaos" at both ends

Not food or microwave safe

The surface is enriched with evidence of ash

Song of a Waxwing - Small P09576-P00025 bring this ceramic wall sculptureThis mixed media piece features an original photograph printed with archival pigment inks on cotton printmaking paper; artist Yukoi Ishii then highlights the image with colored pencils to create a painterly effect and affixes the print to a cradled wood panel with non toxic adhesive. She then coats the piece with wax to give the image a translucent quality, paints the sides of the board black, and finishes it with a clear protective acrylic. Signed
