Barbara Danzi exaggerated the differences in size, scale, curve, thickness, and how much each figure intertwines. Danzi designed this without pre planning, sketching, or pattern making, and cut all the pieces freehand without rulers or templates. After sewing on her machine, she layered the design on top of cotton batting and a fabric backing and sew
