Wollen Vikingmuts Leif, bruin 20e eeuwse kleding door Romeinse legionairs gedragenHeadgear came in various forms in the Viking Age: from pointed woolen hats to round felt hats and loose hoods. The type that was common probably varied by status, function and fashion archaeological finds and images show several of these variants, including this pointed woolen cap. The hat is made of 100% wool in a diamond twill weave, a weaving technique that has also been archaeologically proven in Scandinavian textile finds from the Viking Age.
